Introduction


Readjusting its pro-Western policies designed and implemented so far
linearly since the Second World War, Turkey opens
new era in its approach to international relations. Indeed, it
started in recent years to increase the all-round initiatives,
including a political settlement of some disputes with secular
its neighbors (Syria, Iraq, Greece and Cyprus, and especially Armenia), a
political mediation between Israel and Syria, Iran and the West, a
business development more modest ($ 100 million with
Lebanon) to more ambitious ($ 100 billion with Russia), a
politics of energy supply at the intersection of the Caucasus,
of Iran, Iraq, Russia and Western Europe, a policy
bold abolition of visas (Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and even
Saudi Arabia and Russia).
