Abstract
The temporary closure of hotels due to work has an impact on employees of the establishment, so the employer has certain obligations, such as to inform and consult employee representative bodies. Several options are available to the employer to manage this type of situation: the redundancy if justified by a real and serious cause such as renovation of the hotel ensure its competitiveness, the availability of staff, voluntary employee departures or partial unemployment.
