Abstract

The "distinction palace" therefore created, respects the "palace spirit", allowing the recognition of the establishments that are exceptional to several extents: geographical, historical, aesthetic, patrimonial, and so forth. However, this distinction has been the subject of criticism due to the conditions of its attribution. So a new decree was adopted on 3 october 2014 which aims to clarify and secure the attribution procedure. Moreover the legal effects attached to the "distinction palace" deserve to be extended to make this label even more attractive.
