Introduction

The internal crisis in the Islamic Republic poses the question of
decline in its regional power 1. If this status does not necessarily correspond to
increasing the influence of Tehran described by many observers,
it remains that despite constraints 2, the diplomatic position
the Islamic Republic was in the ascendant in the Middle East before
the post-election political crisis in June 2009. Today, the weakening
Geopolitics of Iran is real, even if it is not reflected in the posture
diplomatic breakthrough that appears on the international scene. the
regional and international ambitions have not been downgraded, and
despite internal crises faced the regime.
