The industry "green" is not yet identified precisely by public statistics, but some studies estimate that currently represents more than 300 000 jobs in France. It is growing stronger and could allow the creation of a large number of jobs by 2020. But green is also - and above - a cross-cutting issue for all industrial sectors. The "greening" of companies is in fact one of the key aspects of competitiveness. The States-General of Industry has led to the particular implementation of enhanced green loans to finance capital expenditure virtuous for both business competitiveness and the environment.
