Introduction

In the Arab military landscape, the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF
in English) is an object of sociological research particularly
dynamics for several reasons. Before addressing these and linger
particularly on the heterogeneous composition of their troops on the map
including religious, it should first take a look back
on their dense and turbulent history.
