Introduction


The revolutionary wind blowing through the Arab world since the beginning
of 2011 has changed the geopolitical situation and deeply affected
all actors, including terrorist groups, starting with Al-Qaeda
the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM). Never has there been so many messages and
official statements of the organization. In just six months (janvierjuin
2011), the leader of AQIM issued a message almost a month
