Abstract
The Majunga Tower, located in Paris-La Defense Business Centre and designed by architect Jean-Paul Viguier on behalf of Unibail- Rodamco is an office building more than 200 m high.
Besides the building architectural and energy specificities, the building site, started in January 2011, includes particular characteristics in relationship with the impact of exploited quarry mining at the level of the base course of the tower, with the management of surrounding buildings settlements and of the table settlement of the foundation raft of the tower. The Majunga tower mainly differs from usual construction with its structural design and with the foundation system adapted to the project requirements.
