Since 2007, as part of the Grenelle de l'Environnement, France is implementing an ambitious strategy of developing new energy technologies (NET) on its territory. At the heart of the national energy policy, the objectives of controlling energy consumption and promote renewable energy are identified as priorities in relation to energy and climate issues in the coming decades.
