The endometrial cancer is as common as colon cancer, in women with Lynch syndrome. The risk of ovarian cancer is lower. Screening is based so far on annual clinical examination, a pelvic ultrasound and endometrial biopsy done on an annual basis from the age of 30 or 35 years (endometrial cancers are outstanding before this age). The diagnostic hysteroscopy can also be proposed. The search for menopause or bleeding is also important because the majority of these cancers is symptomatic. Prophylactic hysterectomy is feasible from the age of 40 or 45 years. Treatment and prognosis of cancers are not found to differ from sporadic cases.
